{"id":11243,"date":"2024-09-25T16:20:48","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T14:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ondrejhalama.sk\/free-deeds-from-the-land-registry\/"},"modified":"2025-02-10T20:22:12","modified_gmt":"2025-02-10T19:22:12","slug":"free-deeds-from-the-land-registry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ondrejhalama.sk\/en\/free-deeds-from-the-land-registry\/","title":{"rendered":"Free deeds from the Land Registry?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will land registry documents be provided free of charge through the infoz\u00e1kon?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic in case No. 1S\u017eik\/3\/2021 (panel composed of JUDr. Anita Filov\u00e1, JUDr. Petra Pr\u00edbelsk\u00e1, PhD., and JUDr. Juraj Vali\u0161) upholds a legal opinion that contradicts the basic legal principle &#8220;Lex specialis derogat legi generali&#8221;<strong>(a special law takes precedence over a general law<\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its decision, the court states that if certain information is provided under a special law (for example, cadastral documents provided under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondrejhalama.sk\/katastralny-zakon-k-1-2-2023\/\">Cadastral<\/a> Act), it can also be requested under the Info Act (Act No. 211\/2000 Coll.). According to the Supreme Administrative Court, it is therefore possible to deal with the same information under two laws.
